Recruitment Intern / HR Intern
July 6, 2026 — hybrid
About Cordys Analytics
Cordys Analytics is a fast-growing medtech start-up and spin-out from UMC Utrecht.
We develop GALVO, a full-spectrum AI-powered cardiology platform that helps healthcare professionals deliver faster, more accurate and more scalable cardiac diagnostics. GALVO supports multiple diagnostic workflows, including resting ECG analysis, Holter monitoring, and future applications in remote cardiac monitoring and wearable devices.
Our mission is to improve cardiovascular care by combining artificial intelligence with clinical expertise, enabling earlier diagnosis, better patient outcomes, and more efficient healthcare delivery.
Every ECG and Holter recording that flows through GALVO is reviewed by a trained ECG analyst. As our diagnostic volumes grow rapidly across Europe, so does our need for a strong, steady pipeline of analysts — most of whom are students. To build that pipeline in a structured and sustainable way, we are looking for an organised and proactive Recruitment/HR Intern.
The assignment
We need to grow our pool of ECG analysts. For this, we’re looking for a student who can help us build a clear, repeatable recruitment process — from first contact all the way through to hiring — and turn it into an ongoing program rather than a one-off campaign.
This is not just about filling open positions once. It’s about designing a recruitment rhythm that keeps finding, engaging and hiring new analysts every quarter, so Cordys always has the capacity it needs to keep pace with growth.
What you will do
- Help us find and hire more ECG analysts, mainly students.
- Contact schools, universities and student groups to build relationships and a steady stream of candidates.
- Build a clear, structured recruitment process: from first contact, to interview, to hiring decision.
- Set this process up as an ongoing program with a regular quarterly rhythm, rather than a one-off recruitment campaign.
- Track and report on the recruitment pipeline, so progress and bottlenecks are visible to the team.
- Continuously improve the process based on what works, so it keeps running smoothly with less oversight over time.
Requirements
Who we are looking for
This internship is a good fit for students with an interest in recruitment, HR or organizational design who want hands-on ownership of a process from day one.
- You are organized and enjoy building structure and clear processes.
- You can make a recruitment process run smoothly, end to end.
- You’re comfortable reaching out to schools, student associations and other external contacts.
- You think in terms of an ongoing program, not just a single campaign or event.
- You communicate clearly, both in writing and in person.
- You are proactive and take ownership of your own work.
Benefits
What you will learn
During this internship, you will take ownership of a process that directly shapes how fast Cordys can grow. You will gain hands-on experience in:
- Designing and running a recruitment funnel from scratch, from sourcing to hiring.
- Building external partnerships with schools and student organisations.
- Turning a one-off process into a sustainable, recurring program.
- What it takes to scale a team inside a fast-growing medtech start-up.
Why join Cordys Analytics?
At Cordys, you’ll take ownership of a process that directly determines how fast we can grow. The recruitment program you build won’t be a report that ends up on a shelf — it will be the process we actually use, quarter after quarter, to find and hire the analysts who power our diagnostics.
We offer a dynamic start-up environment, close collaboration with the team, and the chance to build something from the ground up that will outlast your internship.
